David Lewis - Writer
Emerging
from the field of comic book academia, Lewis has presented scholarly papers
on the comic book medium at conference across the country as well as writing
for The International Journal of Comic Art, The Pulse,
and Broken Frontier. He went to both edit and write for Red Eye
Press’ flagship title Valentine and, from there, collaborated
with a number of additional companies including Committed Comics with
Threads and Neo Dawn, Sky Dog Comics with Even More
Fund Comics, and Silent Devil Productions with Dracula Vs. King
Arthur. In 2002, Lewis debuted his own title, the dark suspense anthology
Mortal Coils, which went on to be named a winner in the 2003
Cinescape Literary Genre Competition. The first collected Mortal
Coils trade paperback Bodylines was released in 2004, with
a follow-up edition slated for 2005's Free Comic Book Day.

Mann
began his comics career in 1989 inking The Trouble With Girls
for Malibu Graphics, then going on to illustrate Ape City, Flesh
Gordon, and the hilarious Girls spin-off Lizard Lady.
Returning to comics in 2002, he utilized 3dsmax animation and modeling
software for Mark Stephen Meadows' book Pause and Effect: The Art
of Interactive Narrative. His most recent projects leading up to
The Lone and Level Sands include The Girly Comic, work
with Saucy Goose Press, and Girlamatic.com’s Arcana Jayne
by Lisa Renee Jonte.
