Orphaned at birth, Matt only briefly had a family at the Starzwick house where his foster brother, James, came to truly love his odd and interesting companion. Matt went from awkward loner to an important part of this clan, making his removal from their household even more painful when Mr. Starzwick passed away of cancer. The two boys remained in touch, though raised separately.

And now that link to James, perhaps the only social connection in Matt’s paranoid life as a conspiracy theorist, could get Matt killed.
